Great little museum with lots to see, highly recommended for families with dinosaur fans. smalls gift shop has some lovely things on offer and we really enjoyed our time there. great fun
A lovely museum that has many wonderful species if you are into rocks and fossils. it’s not a big museum like fitzwilliam, but it has more than enough to see including some exciting animal fossils as well as a section dedicated to charles darwin’s collection of rocks in his younger years. my personal favourite is the minerals and gemstones, many different type of specimens on display and is wonderful to see them in its raw form. i visited on a monday and is not too busy. staff is friendly and very helpful with information. highly recommended 💕
Many many wooden cabinets, along with some cool dinosaur exhibits, and a great room all about geology, it is not particularly big, but free entry, it only takes maybe 30-45 minutes to see everything. very friendly staff. worth going to if you are in cambridge.
