I took my little anxious cat to the arbury road for her annual vaccinations, and i was so impressed by how the vet handled her (i can't remember the vets name, sorry!). buffy was handled gently and slowly, and with care, which i'm sure made her more relaxed (well...maybe not relaxed, just less terrified!)
Absolutely wonderful. the vet and nurse came to our house for our very poorly dog. they were both so kind,. ẞympathetic for us and gentle as they sent our friend to sleep painlessly. i thank them so much. would recommend this vets surgery extremely highly.
Nice and kind local vet practice. never had to go for anything serious, but have been for the occasional issue with a dog and they performed thorough checks before confirming nothing serious.
I would recommend this vets to anyone looking for a vet. it is such a nice friendly place. all the vets and staff i have met there have been so kind and caring. when my lovely dog was very ill and had to be put to sleep we couldn't have been in better hands. we even had a lovely condolence card sent to us with a packet of forget me not seeds included. i've never heard of this happening to anyone before. we now have another dog and we never hesitated to take him to this same vets.
Robert loxley is an outstanding vet! i am convinced that my 20 year old cat daisy would have never reached her impressive age, had it not been for him - and her last years were certainly an uphill struggle shaped by a major stroke and towards the end blindness. in all that time, robert's focus was clearly on supporting daisy as a family member, who - despite her stroke and blindness - seemed to very much enjoy her last years (clearly more than most humans). this is not self-understood, as i have come across vets in other clinics who loved to run as many animal experiments as possible to maximize their profits. that is clearly not the case at arbury road veterinary surgeons, thanks to robert loxley.
