Not going to lie, the fish and chips here are amazing, definitely the best place to get fish and chips in Canterbury. The homemade tartar sauce is supreme!

Nice fish and chip shop. Definitely have the best pies in Canterbury - home made with gravy. None of that Pukka rubbish.

Ordered medium chips with some other stuff, chips were dry and overcooked, portion was so small despite paying for a medium, would hate to see the size of a small portion, we got more like a kids size. This was June 2023, Won't be returning

Friday evening, I would expect this place to be busy, but there was no queue. The quality of the fish, chips and pie was comparatively poor, so i guess that's the reason.

I can’t believe that we’ve never been to this place in all the years it’s been right around the corner, at least until it was recommended by friends. Great menu beyond the usual “cod and chips” offer, beautifully cooked, great value and really friendly staff. Having found it, I’m sure we will now be regulars!
