Mister Miyagi's Sushi

Quality food but something is off. First thing first, I was worried when the miso soup came with the huge stainless spoon. My friends said it tasted alright though. As for the sushi bowls, while the fish was fresh and plump, the portion was super small, even comparing with Japanese restaurants in London. It’s only about one third of market average. I left still hungry. There was no normal salad option other than the sweet seaweed salad. Ordinary seaweed salad, like the ones in supermarkets and fast food chains.

The food was absolutely fantastic and the staff were really welcoming and attentive. The only reason we spent so much is because we probably ate our body weight in sushi! 100% recommended!

The best sushi restaurant in Kent without question. Good sushi is hard to find in the UK, but Mr Miyagi delivers an experience akin to that in Tokyo. The restaurant isn't large so call ahead for busy times, although this smaller size compliments a relaxing atmosphere. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I would love to see tempura on the menu, but that's about the only thing I could suggest to this fantastic establishment.

Very cosy little restaurant, the food is very fairly priced and the food very nice. The fish is beautiful and tasted fresh. Overall a very nice simple sushi experience with great food and fair price 🙌🏻

The sushi was amazing, very fresh and tasty. The gyoza was also super good. We also had some miso soup which was lovely. Definitely one of the best sushi places in Canterbury 😊
