Interesting museum explaining about how Romans lived, and psychological finds in and around Canterbury.

There is not much in here compared to the other Roman site, and it is a bit pricey for the entry fee of £8 for a student.

Small but very informative and interesting museum. It was fascinating to see what Roman Canterbury was like and some remains still around. Found the mosaics and remains a bit hard to see though due to lighting and my height. Nice little gift shop too and bought a few bits.

A small museum that has lots of history in the basement including the main attraction a beautiful flower mosaic. Activities for children and lots of things for adults to look at too - Outfits to try on, shields and swords to brandish. Feel how heavy helmets were and try yourhand at magnetic mosaic designs. My 2nd visit last came in 2016 and more to see now.

Lovely place to visit where you can learn about the roman influences in Britain. Many vivid images and many reproductions will spark your imagination. You can dress up like a roman soldier and feel how heavy their equipment was. What's left from a roman bath is very well preserved and can be admired behind a thick glass. It's definitely worth visiting!
