Bangkok House

If you’re visiting Canterbury and wanting some Thai foods, go to Bangkok House. We were hesitant to go in at first since there wasn’t a lot of people when we went there today. So glad we didn’t change our mind. We enjoyed our meal here and would have no problem going back tomorrow for a second meal. The decorations were great as well. We went with the set meal option for 2 since we didn’t know what to pick. Food portions were huge for 2 people! We ate before I remembered to take pictures so the amount of foods in the pictures can be misleading. Oops. The ladies were very friendly and checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was fine. Thank you for an enjoyable dinner, Ladies.

You must go here! The food, service, and atmosphere are amazing! The food is on another level, so very tasty. Definitely go here. You will not be disappointed.

My favourite Thai in the area. Hadn’t been for a few years and was very pleased to find that the quality and flavour I remembered was still as good. The best chicken satay starter for miles around. They don’t hurry you out the door either which I appreciate. Love this place will be back 😊

Nice food. Flavours can definitely be more bold. More coconut milk in tom kha soup. More spice and coconut mill in red curry. Staff were very friendly and attentive. 5 stars for service 3 stars for flavour

Food was absolutely superb! Authentic taste, great depth of flavour and delicious all the way through. Staff are very pleasant and friendly too.
