Canterbury Historic River Tours

Myself and my 2 daughters took this tour for the first time yesterday. Although we live quite local we had never done it before. We all loved every minute. Our tour guide was full of knowledge and kept the whole boat entertained throughout. I would highly recommend this tour to all.

Loved this! We went on the 4:40 tour, perfect time of day! Guide was wonderful. We signed up in person. Tired to online but if a tour is within 2hrs you are unable to book online.

Enjoyed the day out at Canterbury! One of the scenic places of England. Children had fun, loved the ride.

A figure-eight itinerary on a canal that originated in Roman times gives you a look around the back of historic Canterbury. Our guide/rower told a collection of interesting stories about people and events that shaped the city that's here today. It's popular to bring dogs on the tour, for reasons I don't understand. Boarding/leaving the boats will be difficult for anyone with mobility problems. Tickets can be booked online. A short walk from the cathedral through pedestrian areas. Several restaurants (Wildwood, ASK Italian, Po Boys, Five Guys, Weavers House) are all right by the departure point.

Not entirely sure if I’m commenting on the right service provider. My partner and I visited Canterbury spontaneously in October without realising it was not tourist season. I wanted to see the river banks covered in flowers but the greenery was just as wonderful. The tour was very fun and enjoyable. Nice and pleasant conversations. Blankets provided. I could honestly spent all day on the river just for the view and the wind.
