Have always liked c&h, and this branch is even better since moving. craft products are easier to see in natural light, and the atmosphere is no longer oppressive. all of the good staff made the move too, and i don't feel shy about queries as i often do in shops
My wife loves the shop and overall we like the coffee shop upstairs however don't visit the coffee shop after 3pm, especially on a weekend since food stops at 3pm. our last visit we wandered in at 3.10pm and the young chap, spent 10 minutes deciding what to eat before the young chap just said 'we've got no food, the kitchen is closed, all we have are these cakes left' we ordered drinks and then while choosing a cake, some other girl started clearing them all away right in front of us. think the coffee shop closes at 4pm so goodness knows why they don't even make up cold sandwiches after 3pm. some of the weekday staff are lovely by the way but they do seem to change quite often.
Crafters paradise! great choice of fabrics, wool, tools and anything creative including great prints for your home. curtain department and homeware too. looking for gifts you will find something for everyone here. lovely cafe with light lunches and good coffee. staff always helpful and knowledgeable.
Beautiful merchandise on sale in a bright and well stocked shop which means you can browse for hours! kind and attentive staff. little cafe on site when you need rejuvenating that has a varied menu and a nice atmosphere. a lift in store for disabled customers to reach the 1st floor and cafe!! definitely worth a visit
Just fyi. the store now only does curtains and blinds. no gifts. no haberdashery. and it’s in the marlow arcade.
