Bill's Cardiff Central Restaurant

Nice place in the center of Cardiff, nice atmosphere and smiling people. I have a feeling I wasn't lucky with the choice of dishes. The halloumi burger was not as good as I expected. The bread was not fresh, crumbly and tasteless. The accompanying potatoes were delicious. The other dishes i ordered were also mediocre in taste and small in quantity for the prices. But the coffee was tasty.

Really good food.. super tasty and fresh. Staff were friendly and reasonably fast service considering how busy it was. We had the Mediterranean breakfast and garden plate with two apple juices costing us £34. The downside was they added a 12.5% service charge which was not made obvious.. also we had a reservation but still had to wait over 15 minutes outside in the queue even though there were PLENTY of empty tables. Would be worth a visit for the food alone!

Thoroughly enjoyed Bill's. The food was very enjoyable. The pancakes with fresh fruit were superb, fluffy and not drowned in maple syrup. Service was a little bit slow but the restaurant was packed and the service was still friendly. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating as we came with a small dog. The atmosphere was great, everyone seemed to be having a super time. Would definitely recommend and will be going back to try more items off their menu. Disclaimer: The grilled tomato and black pudding came with the traditional breakfast and not the Eggs Benedict but I don't eat that so I passed it on. 🫢

Enjoyed a quick lunch with friends from UK. Much thanks to their recommendation I enjoyed a simple lunch here. Food is good. But I like the interior of the restaurant more. Very welcoming and cozy to sit down for good conversations.

Its a good resturent and looks quite packed. We went there on a wednesday with a group of 20 people. Food was amazing. Since we had a big group the delivery was slow. But the manager gave us a discount for the delay which is quite appreciated. It would be good to book if you go as a group. Good service. Menu is of July 2023
