1st Steer Driving School Cardiff - Automatic Driving Lessons

Had my first driving lesson with Naeem after a 3 month gap from any lessons. I feel confident with his style of teaching and positive about my lessons going forward. He put me and ease, very patient and explains things well. Looking forward to my next one :) UPDATE: I'm pleased to say I passed my test today with 3 minors. I'd consider myself a nervous driver and Naeem was extremely patient. I struggled with roundabouts, steering too close to parked cars and left turns being too wide and Naeem would go over this thoroughly until I was 100% confident with it. Didn't get annoyed at me once! I would highly recommend Naeem, especially if you're a nervous driver. Thanks Naeem :)

I live in Southend On Sea, Essex and I had to book for a test in Cardiff, Wales due to non-availability of test dates in all parts of England. I was quite lucky to get one that will take place in four days time. Since my driving instructor was not willing to accompany me all the way to Cardiff I had to look for one there. I went on google and started searching. I contacted a lot of instructors who were not willing to help because I didn’t practice with them and moreover the test date was too close. They all declined. When I had completely given up and about to cancel my booking, 1st steer driving school instructor (Naeem) was the only one who agreed to assist me by making his vehicle available only if I passed his assessment. He was God sent to say the least. He was very strict and said I will not be able to proceed with the test if I fail his assessment. I agreed and we made all arrangements to meet on the test date which is today 1st May 2023. It was a long journey for me to Cardiff. He came to the train station to pick me up and we went to somewhere safe for the assessment. I passed but he said my driving needed some fine tuning. So came the long drill. He is very thorough and precise. He wants everything to be perfect. I felt like I had never driven in my entire life when I experienced his wealth of knowledge about driving. Mind you I have been driving for over 20years in my home country and in England for 8months and Naaem made it seem as if I was just a beginner. He had all the learning materials and references to drive home his point. His skills are exceptional. To cut the long story short , I passed my driving test after his coaching. I am really grateful to him because it won’t have ended well if not for his drills. He should be given an award for making a student pass their driving test with just 3 hours of coaching. God bless you Naeem and I will never forget this.

I had my first ever automatic driving lesson with naeem after a year gap from manual lessons and I felt super anxious before starting but within half an hour of the lesson I felt really confident and not pressured at all as like before with a different driving school, I would highly recommend to anyone doing automatic or manual with naeem, thanks again. UPDATE: I just want to say thank you to naeem for helping me along this journey, he reassured me many of times to be confident and just breath, before starting with naeem after a horrible experience with a previous instructor I thought I'd never pass and always doubted myself, but today I passed first time with flying colours even at nearly 9 months pregnant, naeem is such a lovely, helpful person and guided me at a pace I was comfortable with SO THANK YOU SO MUCH I CANT BELIEVE IVE PASSED! THANK YOU FOR BELIEVING IN ME.

This was a great course! I passed on the first tet. I did a 3 day intensive course. It was completely worth it to come up from London. I was totally prepared to pass and the instruction was excellent. This is especially good for Americans getting their UK license. I highly Naeem from 1st Steer Driving School

I've been driving with family for a while now and I thought about having lessons with an instructor, I'm so glad I did because I've learned so much. Naeem is an amazing instructor, he's always understanding whenever I make mistakes, and I make alot of mistakes. Its great how he changes his teaching style to fit his students especially for someone with autism, like me. I have issues with sensory processing but that was not a problem, naeem adapted his teaching to compensate for that. A kind, friendly , adaptable teacher who can make you laugh and does weekend lessons (which is very rare) what more can anyone ask for. I'm confident I'll pass my test with his help 😌 kill the fear and believe in yourself.
