Losing our mum was a traumatic time and all four of us, her children, felt bereft and at a loss. the funeral and its planning was something we all dreaded, however, ivor thomas funerals made the whole procedure as painless as possible. straight from the first phone enquiry i could tell they had our best interests at heart and nothing was too much trouble. we were carefully and respectfully guided through the funeral plans , there was no hard selling, it was all done incredibly professionally. at our initial meeting with mark, we entered the office nervously, we were immediately put at ease and we left at the end of the meeting as happy a family as we could be, under the circumstances. we could see they were approachable, they knew their job, and most of all they cared. the options and the pricing was also very well explained and very clear and it was also very affordable. on the funeral day everything was perfect, thanks to the planning and the communication we had with the team. any changes we had made from the initial meeting were all dealt with as if nothing was too much trouble, they obviously and genuinely just wanted to get it the way we wanted and indeed everything happened as it should— it was respectful, efficient, beautiful , lovely flowers, smartly turned out, all so well organised. mum would have been so pleased. i hope i do not get involved with too many funerals, but if i do i would have no hesitation in going straight to ivor thomas funerals….i couldn’t recommend them enough, everything was perfect.

Mark and his team were simply amazing. nothing was too much trouble and his patience with our requests and organisation was over and above. they helped us every step along the way including assisting people who were lost on the way to the crem! the service was exactly as we wanted and was a complete celebration of my dad's life and exactly as we wanted it to be. we can't thank him and his team enough.
