First time at the restaurant. won't be the last. thought it was empty as restaurants usually put customers in the front window and they didn't. walked inside to be welcomed by friendly staff and a busy restaurant with lots of full tables. food was amazing, best indian i've had to date. i kept getting more hungry the more i ate, cos it tasted so good! couldn't finish our meal and was offered to take it home and the desert if we wanted! bathrooms were immaculate, decorated to a high standard and smelt amazing! best 50 quid spent on poppadoms, 2 starters, 2 mains, rice, chips, naan, bombay aloo, 2 deserts, 4 alcoholic drinks & 1 soft drink! definitely recommend!
Delicious food and outstanding service!! we booked for a joint leaving do for 20 people and the team went out of their way to ensure our night was perfect! such a polite and friendly atmosphere. i will be recommending this restaurant to everyone and i will definitely be returning! thank you jashaan's for an amazing evening!
Visited at 1900 on a saturday for a pre-booked sit down meal for 12 (two people dropped out due to covid). made the reservation via kukd, which was accepted pretty quickly by the restaurant at the begging of april. however, three days prior to the meal, i was contacted by the restaurant requesting a £10 deposit per person. not a big issue, but would've been nice to be advised at the time of the booking that i'd have to pay a deposit. to the night of the meal. wow! place can easily accomodate a fair few people and parties at the same time. orders for food and drinks were taken within 10-15 minutes of being seated. a large batch of poppadums and chutneys were served quickly. everyone had a starter and seeing what people were getting as well as the presentation of some starters shows that the restaurant want to make things pop! mains were next. this is where we unfortunately had a few hiccups with some of the people not getting their mains or rice, and had to wait quite a while for these to be brought, even though the staff were made aware that food orders were missing. it didn't help as the staff had to be reminded again, so some of the party were waiting at least 20 minutes for the dishes to be served, thus slightly dampening the night. overall, the presentation and staff were great and efficient (apart from the one issue). prices were average for an indian restaurant and not overpriced. everybody enjoyed their meals and concluded that they'd come back to this restaurant again.
Excellent restaurant best indian around. hidden gem offering a warm welcome . delicious food , cooked fresh. would definitely recommend . make sure to book to avoid disappointment. wouldn’t go anywhere else. fantastic well presented food, staff are excellent they go out of their way and nothing too much trouble.
First time visiting and wow! firstly, the staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful, it makes a massive difference. secondly, the food was outstanding. best indian cuisine i have tried. four of us were visiting for a birthday meal, we enjoyed the sharing starter between 4; it was tasty, plentiful and beautifully arranged on the platter. for main i enjoyed the prawn biryani, and the ang gohst, with garlic naan and chips. it was delicious, big portions and thoroughly enjoyable. couldn't finish it all so we had take away boxes for the left overs. the servers timed everything perfectly, we had a leisurely meal, but we're still well attended. i would definitely recommend, and would return.
