Ciliegino Restaurant

It’s really hard to put into words the authenticity of the Italian dishes in this place. I have never felt so welcomed and well-fed. If you are looking for somewhere that reminds you of Italy, look no further, Ciliegino is the place to be! I cannot mention this place without praising the exceptional effort that its manager, Fabio, puts in ensuring you have time of your life, from its hearty conversations to his coordinating of staff to ensure you’re well looked after. A great Italian restaurant with fast service and tasty meals. The pizza was really good and the pasta sauce was nothing but fresh and authentic feel. We shall come back again!

Located on the first floor of st David shopping mall. Interior- modern. Seating to the walk way of the mall as well as the interior of the restaurant. It was a quick in and out for me as I had a train to catch. They did well as In and out in 20mins with a spaghetti carbonara truffle-Nice dish. Was offered a complimentary limoncello which is a lovely gesture. Will definitely come back for a longer meal.

First time in Cardiff and came because of great reviews on Trip Advisor. They didn’t disappoint! Food was lovely and service very good. Manager made us feel very welcome, 100% recommend.

The best pizza I’ve had in Cardiff! Starting off with drinks, everything is reasonably priced, and a good selection of everything non-alcoholic and alcoholic. The starters were really good, you get a large portion of calamari for the price! Perfectly cooked as well. The pizza crust was crispy on the outside and perfectly soft and springy on the inside, this is the only time I’ve willingly wanted to have more crust! The pizza as a whole was delicious and flavourful. The truffle pasta was creamy and delicious, you actually get truffle on top which I didn’t expect at all! Finally the tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had in my life, I would’ve had another one if I could 😂 All in all would come back again, thank you for the amazing experience!
