Have no idea why I went somewhere else! After having to go elsewhere based on an emergency I’ve discovered that I have the wrong prescription is in my new glasses (bought elsewhere) and had to be referred to a hospital for follow up. Specsavers spotted all this and acted amazingly quick. Thank you.

I recently visited the Specsavers Opticians in the Cardiff Queen Street branch for a contact lens appointment, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I had the pleasure of meeting Guru, who conducted my eye test, and I was thoroughly impressed by his professionalism and expertise. Guru's attention to detail during the eye test was remarkable. He patiently explained each step of the process and made sure I felt comfortable throughout. His knowledge and expertise were evident, and I felt reassured that I was in capable hands. Not only was Guru exceptional, but the entire team at Specsavers provided top-notch customer service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The staff members were attentive, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. The overall atmosphere of the branch was welcoming and inviting. The waiting area was clean and well-maintained, and the equipment used during the eye test appeared to be of the highest quality, instilling confidence in the service being provided. I cannot emphasize enough how satisfied I am with my experience at Specsavers Cardiff Queen Street. The level of professionalism and customer care I received was truly outstanding. Specsavers, while cheap for a high street optician, is not cheap - you can get far better value from a lot of online retailers. However, they're cheaper than the other optician I visited previously, and the after sales service here is great. Can just walk in and get adjustments made or servicing done within minutes. When I had a new eye test after breaking my glasses and my prescription was the same, instead of trying to upsell me on a new pair they repaired the old one free of charge. Very satisfied.

I went to this branch of Specsavers for an eye test after developing some new symptoms and had a very thorough battery of tests done. Everyone who dealt with me was very professional and knowledgeable especially the optometrist (surname Lewis, can't remember his first name, sorry). They have some very good equipment there and I felt that they investigated everything very thoroughly and left me reassured that there was nothing serious going on with my precious eyeballs. There was also no hard sell on buying their spectacles which was nice. I left with my new prescription and I will return to them if I want to get some glasses because of the competent and professional service they gave me. Very good overall, this is how a big high street opticians should work. I'm very impressed.
