Beautiful surroundings in which to learn a lot about Welsh history and heritage. Plenty of picnic spots and space. Plenty of room for all, even when busy. No entry fee but there is a £6 parking fee. We'll worth it and easy to spend the whole day or an afternoon. It's especially worth a visit on a sunny day in spring/summer to see all the flowers and gardens in bloom.

Free entry, £6 parking, food in the restaurant was excellent. A beautiful place to visit and the layout is fantastic, it's like walking around a small town. Staff were lovely, buy some sweets at the sweet shop, some fresh bread at the bakery, wander up to the big house and sit by the beautiful gardens. Perfect day out thank you x

St Fagans is a lovely place to visit for a family day out and to learn and explore the history of Wales. We visit every summer as the kids love it. Plenty of old houses to visit and the street that explores the cha fed in time. There’s old round houses, a mill and so much more. There is an old traditional sweet and groceries shop as well as a fresh bakery providing fresh bread, bara brith and scones all of which are amazing. There is a cafe over by the castle area and a larger one just past the main entrance which serves a variety of food and drinks. I would like to see a few more picnic benches dotted around as there are no where near enough facilities to stop with your own food especially when it’s raining as there’s no shelter apart from the cafe. A lovely new sand wooden park for the little ones and another new one under the high ropes. High ropes available at a cost of £15 pp Often have a farmers / craft market and a vintage fair ground. Schools often visit where they explore and take part in activities set up by staff. It is easy to locate and access. Plenty of parking which is currently £6 per car but free entry. Plenty of toilets available and easily accessible for wheelchairs and prams. Wheelchairs are available at request free. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead at all times due to the volume of people. A must if you’re in the area.

only £6 to park for the full day and there is so much to see 1 trip isn't always long enough. I've been so many times and only this time I found the castle and gardens, canal with fountains running through. It's just beautiful. Always enjoy walking through time in the houses as well. there's loads of picnic areas dotted around to sit and eat. Coffee shop and food/snacks to buy if you haven't brought a picnic. The little fair was fun for the kids too with old time gamblers to play with. This is a fab place for a whole day out with as little spending as possible. One of my favourite places to visit in Wales since I was a kid.

Brilliant day out. Large car park. Parking is £6 for the day and the museum is free entry. Lots to see and explore. Great for children. Beautiful grounds and ponds near the castle ..and we saw a Kingfisher 💞 Very educational but also just good fun.
