Went in for a walk in tattoo and was welcomed happily into the shop, i got a custom design done by stefan and am extremely pleased with the service, tattoo and everything in general. would definitely recommend 10/10

I had an amazing experience at this place, me and my partner went in today to get matching tattoos (her one/his only) and the staff are just brilliant, the one gentleman who welcomed us in the door was so friendly and gave so much advice about tattoos, the man who did our tattoos dylan was amazing he was very chilled and did an incredible job on our tattoos, before getting my tattoo i was a little nervous and the gent at the door shaun came over before getting my tattoo done he drew a smiley face on my arm in pen and was making a joke and it just made me so happy and i felt really comfortable there, i would 100% recommend this place !!!!!

I chose stronghold as i am "renovating" a bit of a mess of a trash polka sleeve and my regular artist is very busy and focused on custom work. initially, i was a bit skeptical of multi-artist/city centre/high-street shops, as i have only ever really been inked in small owner-shops on a 1-2-1 intimate basis... i have a fair bit of ink in my skin, and have spent days in the chair, not to mention being a bit addicted to the smell of bepanthen in the morning... i "walked-in", and 2 and a bit hours later, walked out with a vastly improved arm... and a new tattooist, (dylan) to help me.... he listened to me, we worked together to ensure things were right, and with an eye on the future... when it comes to tattoos and piercings etc... that sort of stuff, where strangers are poking holes in you with needles, there has to be trust on both sides. and i think we got there, quickly... yep, it's a bit of a different experience from a 1-2-1 shop, busier, might be a bit intimidating for those tattoo virgins who have never crossed the threshold into the scary world of tattoos, skulls, ravens and more images of death than you can shake a stick at! but there's loads of flowers and humor too :-) all i can say is i'm going back, hopefully on an ongoing/rolling basis, as major work is a very long "project" - you don't get a sleeve in an afternoon, (well not unless you are on inkmaster) and there can't be a better recommendation than that. cheers all...

Stronghold was awesome! very welcoming and accommodating to us during our visit to cardiff. super friendly staff, and quality, quick work from dylan. we left with great tattoos, stickers, and food recommendations! 10/10, will visit again the next time i'm in town!
