Palace Cycles

I bought my latest ebike in September 2021, and the service, etc, at the time was excellent, with the owner Mike offering to deliver the bike to my home address without charge. I have today picked up the same bike after it was dropped off a week ago for a service and the need for a replacement part under the manufacturers warranty, and again, the service has been second to none, with Joe keeping me informed of the progress and then letting me know it was ready for collection. Would highly recommend them for sales and service offered by friendly staff👍

Had bit of an issue with the rear tyre on my bike and the guys at Palace Cycles went out of their way to get me back on the road again. This is a proper local bike shop, if I lived in Carlisle I wouldn’t shop anywhere else….

Just a proper shop with fantastic service. Knowledgeable, friendly and will go out of their way to help you out. I am not a review writer but had to here as I really can’t rate them highly enough. They are not my nearest bicycle shop but I certainly won’t be going anywhere else in future.

I am from Australia and doing the John O'Groats to Land's End ride with my wife. We stopped in Carlisle for the night and I noticed a problem with one of our bicycles the next morning. Fortunately, we were staying in a B&B on the same road as Palace Cycles. Their website said that they did not open until 9.30am. We were waiting in front of the shop before 9am when we saw Mike opening his shop. Without hesitation he asked us if we needed help. When I explained the problem to him, he just asked me to bring the bike in and he will see what he can do. Within a few minutes, he fixed the problem and did not change us anything. Not only did he fix our problem for us, but the way he went out of his way to help us and how things were done in good grace. Once again, many thanks Mike.
