One very tasty burger (with stilton) 😁 and super friendly service👍
Great independent bar with a good atmosphere, good choice of drinks and food and friendly team, a lovely find, just moved up here and been a few times would recommend, it has an upstairs bar and a restaurant in the cellar 👌
Loved our visit, no complaints, food was excellent at the price point, cocktails lived up to the names, and the staff were smiley, friendly and knew how to be there if needed but let us enjoy our dinner! highly recommended in all ways… will come again, and tell any friends that visit the are
The service here is some of the best i have ever been privy to experiencing in any dining establishment and and the food was probably on par with the service start to finish and extremely pleasurable dining experience.
Friendly staff, good food, nice atmosphere… thin white duke is somewhat of a hidden gem, those who know about it, know about it! we had booked a table for 2pm on saturday and i’m glad we did, almost every table was taken - we got given a table downstairs which is so much more chilled and a nicer, almost holiday-esque environment. our servers were all really friendly, smiley and chatty - we also didn’t have to wait long for our drinks to come. the menu is fantastic and there’s a wide range of meals on there, for this visit i opted for their super popular chicken is a basket and my partner went for the crispy mac and cheese wrap with chips. the food took a little while to arrive but that was to be expected given how busy it was. our food arrived looking fantastic, the chicken in a basket is brilliant - the fries are delicious, especially when dipped in the chicken gravy which in itself is gorgeous! the chicken wasn’t quite as crispy as i would’ve preferred but it was still tasty! we then got our bill which was quite a good price actually, the food was all priced really well! the only surprise was that the coke’s were around £4 each which i think is a bit steep - that being said; it is a city centre restaurant so prices do tend to be a bit higher.
