Pumpkin Cafe Carlisle

Good prices, awesome tea and decent hot chocolate. Our son got a Cinnemon Swirl and really enjoyed it. Our daughter got a brownie which she really liked too. The lady that served us was brilliant and down to earth.

Absolute legends. Perfect service! They even saved us by refilling our bikes’ water bottles to help us cope with this hot weather! Many thanks!

Super friendly staff, who really brightened my morning, which was very much needed (especially after I realised all the bacon rolls were sold out!) Great wee vibe in the café area - now I know where to go if I have to wait for my connecting trains in future.

Carlisle station is an underrated beauty of old fashioned design from a bygone age. Nothing seems to appreciate it more than this cafe. With it's steam era decor, high ceiling, ornate windows - it's a great place to spend a while. The food at the cafe was much much cheaper than I expected (and used to on trains and stations) and the service was friendly and gentle. Some of the seats are a little tatty but nevertheless this will be my preferred place to wait for a train at Carlisle in future.
