Hands and Heart Chiropractic

I have had an excellent experience with Hand and Heart Chiropractic. Kelly has been unbelievably helpful during my pregnancy journey, adjusting me gently with baby in mind. I have really struggled with pregnancy related sciatic pain which I was told by midwives was 'just part of pregnancy' i.e. Just put up with it. This really doesn't have to be the case, I felt in very safe hands with Kelly at all times, her practise is very professional and she assessed my body in great detail before considering adjustment. The improvement I've felt has been incredible and so much better than I thought possible. Cannot recommended enough. I will be back postpartum!

I came here with an issue with my upper back from sitting at a desk too much which was becoming chronic. Felt improvements pretty much straight away, then I went up and down for few weeks which Kelly explained was part of the healing process. After three months I feel about 90% better than I did initially. Kelly is very knowledgeable, positive, and friendly, if you have a back issue she can probably help you with it!

The health benefits of chiropractic care for my family have been immense - reducing my stress levels, and helping with eye tracking (improving reading ability), bladder infections and chest complaints in my young daughters. Kelly is incredibly special - she is kind and knowledgeable, and always provides us with wonderful guidance and reassurance. I have nothing but good things to say about Kelly. She is friendly, professional and makes you feel at ease during her appointments. I initially booked an appointment for my newborn and our first visit was when he was 2 weeks old. He wasn't the most settled of babies but, after a few sessions with Kelly, he was a lot more content and I truly believe that is down to the adjustments that Kelly carried out. I then started seeing Kelly myself and cannot believe the difference she has made to my quality of life. I've had issues with my back since the age of 19 but 2 pregnancies really took their toll on my lower back and pelvis. I was in pain daily and my sleep was affected because of this pain but I just thought that's how life would be and it was just another consequence of my body changing with pregnancy. Enter Kelly! I started the appointments thinking that the pain wouldn't totally go but any improvement was better than nothing. Whilst it is a long journey and I'm far from fixed, I have days where I am totally painfree and can do activities without worrying about my backpain. Therefore, I now believe Kelly is a miracle worker. I genuinely look forward to my appointments as it's like catching up with a friend and I can't thank her enough for what she has done for both me and my baby.

Working with Kelly and Liam has been a pleasure. Initially visiting because I felt I was sleeping weirdly, I found myself learning more about my skeleton than I'd expected. Regular treatments allowed me to progress from not being able to stand or walk slowly for much more than an hour to walking the 100km Jurassic Coastal Challenge in 2019 (some 25 hours!). It's not just the adjustments that you get from Kelly and Liam that make you feel better, it's their total approach to health and vitality which is rarely found in general practice.
