ibis Carlisle City Centre

Free parking which is unusual these days. The rooms are small but all you need really. The pod washroom was good and the shower had plenty of space. The hot breakfast buffet was good and was constantly being topped up. All the staff were friendly and chatty

First experience of Ibis and it has been excellent. Very good beds, likewise shower and spotlessly clean. Staff friendly on check in. Would stay again definitely.

Easy to book on line direct with hotel, easy smooth check-in, very clean hotel lobby and bar restaurant area, room was also clean and well appointed, bed was very comfortable, en suite was clean and well laid out, food was basic but enjoyable with breakfast being all you can eat, bar was ok basic assortment of drinks, check out was easy and straight forward.

Absolutely one of the warmest welcomes ever received at a hotel, the staff were absolutely wonderful. We stopped one night passing through from Scotland to Yorkshire and we just wanted to explore the area a little bit. We had a few issues in the room which realistically shouldn't have been there, the shower head popped off as soon as we tried to run the water, we flushed the toilet and then it wouldn't stop trickling water, the desk had a bench like seat which when we put our case on it just fell to the floor. The issues didn't really effect our stay but we did let the staff know so they could resolve it before the next guest. Room itself, minus the issues, was a decent size, not over looked, nice clean bathroom which was a decent enough size for the room bed was a little creaky but still very comfortable. Yeh good budget hotel if you're in the area and want somewhere clean and comfy to stay.
