Masala Bazaar

Only in carlisle for the weekend with my wife and we found this beauty. the food, staff and cleanliness is absolutely superb. if you're ever in carlisle and you fancy a genuine indian meal, look no further than the masala bazaar.

No if but's or maybe's. this is the very best indian restaurant in cumbria. staff all friendly, helpful, efficient, smartly dressed. building and facilities spotlessly clean. wide varirty of dishes, some unique to masala bazarr. food is absolutely amazing, full of flavour, spiced to perfection, you can watch your meal being freshly cooked. portion sizes generous, nicely priced. group of approx 20 attend for a meal every year.never had any reason to complain in 10 years. for indian food second to none.

Amazing service and fabulous authentic food, highly recommended

I enjoyed it so much that i went back the following evening! the first night i was quite early so i had the early bird meal offer which was excellent value and good food. the second night i had the indian railway lamb curry which i'd never seen offered before anywhere. the menu is very good, and away from the standised menu you see in so many indian restaurants in england. well worth a visit!

While visiting carlisle with my brother over the jubilee weekend we found this amazing indian restaurant. the interior is fresh and bright, the staff very pleasant and helpful, and the menu choices are amazing. we thoroughly enjoyed our very tasty meal and will go back again. recommended.
