Top notch, best chippy in the area, along with the Mermaid, but then it's run by the same family, will deliver locally. Baked spuds as well. Oh and they do pizzas as well. What's not to like?!

Mel’s is the best. The food is always hot, the service is great and what they do for the community at large is above and beyond. Honestly get down there and get your chips!
