Top notch, best chippy in the area, along with the mermaid, but then it's run by the same family, will deliver locally. baked spuds as well. oh and they do pizzas as well. what's not to like?!

What a fabulous place, great food seriously good value and they also do loads free food for the kids during term times and other charities... and it's local ,love it

Mel’s is the best. the food is always hot, the service is great and what they do for the community at large is above and beyond. honestly get down there and get your chips!
