Carmarthen Leisure Centre

Very clean, friendly staff. best leisure centre around. great for families and kids too.

I visited the leisure centre to use the gym today whilst i was staying in the area. i booked the session online (after creating a free account), and turned up for my session. staff on reception were very helpful explaining where things were. the gym is very impressive, and absolutely full of lots of different types of equipment, including a whole range of resistance machines and free weights. there are two rooms (the main gym, and an exercise room (which i assume is for classes, but also contains some equipment if you want to break out from the main space). all the equipment was very clean, but some of the equipment is a bit tired, however this is made up for the huge range of equipment there to use. a single walk in session cost £6.40, but i think this is very reasonable for how much there is to offer. overall, a great experience, and it's a shame i live 200 miles away!

They've had quite a big reworking of the leisure centre since our last visit, and it's really improved it. and it was ok before. i just had a coffee while my wife was swimming, so i don't know if the changing areas are different. the coffee is freshly made, and pretty good!

Great leisure centre. we came here on swimming competition day so it was rammed. great little cafe and serving variety of items including hot pasties etc. viewing gallery is very good and parking is adequate although it was hard to find a space on a competitor on day. would recommend to anyone
