In warmer weather the outside will be really nice as it's undercover and spacious. inside is cramped while they are refurbishing the larger bar area. the atmosphere was friendly so you don't feel unwelcome. drinks are on the steep side compared to pubs in carmarthen town itself. nearly £2 for a pint of soft drink is too much. the gents toilets need a refit or a damn good scrub out from ceiling to floor. nothing worse than wadding through urine.
Mark is doing wonders revamping this well located pub. the new chef is cooking delicious home made food too. the sweet potato chips went down especially well. there is a mini music festival day planned, i hear, next month.... and the newly painted building is outstanding... peacock blue... lovely!
Completely random stop here, but it was amazing and exactly what we needed a hell of a lot better than an motorway services. great friendly staff, cold drinks and pool which was fun. awesome food including chicken nuggets and chips.. will definitely be back.. watch out!
Lovely food, mexican theme menu but something for everyone. kids meals were good size and choices of lighter plates to pick on if you just fancy something with a drink.
