We used charnwood gates recently for the first time after talking with lloyd robinson, the managing director, and after receiving quotes from charnwood and others. our electric gates were not closing because there were faults on the control panel. charnwood diagnosed the problem well and saved us money by opting to replace defective parts on the control panel rather than installing a new panel. they also fitted pressure ribs and sensors to ensure the gates comply with current safety regulations and to minimise the risks of children being injured as the gates close. these should have ben fitted when the gates were installed by others 5 years ago. lloyd and the team who did the work were very helpful and very efficient. because we had young grandchildren visiting they went out of their way to get the work done quickly before they arrived. charnwood were excellent value for money. we will use them for gate maintenance in the future and we have already recommended them to others for the installation or repair of their electric gates. john, matlock
