Bel is very knowledgeable and experienced. This shone through the plans she drew up to make a lovely sitting area at the back of our house and connect the house to our new summerhouse, whilst coping with various slopes. The drawings and 3-D pictures she produced were most informative. She also recommended someone to carry out the work and someone to advise us on a large garden pond. Both have visited and were also very knowledgeable and helpful. We are intending to implement the plans later this year. I thoroughly recommend her.

I have thoroughly loved every minute spent in my new garden, completed July 2019. Bell's design reflected exactly what I asked for, which was for a soft seaside feel for a relaxed environment, whilst making the most of the quirky shape, and different levels in my garden, and I think that she she nailed it! Bell walked me through each stage and was flexible to my thoughts whilst still making good suggestions which added detail and a contemporary twist. You can see how my 1970's garage was transformed with the wooden slats, echoed throughout the garden and the lovely sweeping shape the stones make in comparison to the traditional lawn. Bell recommended some great landscapers too, who did a fantastic job (Soar Valley Services), Graham's team worked through to completion while I was away at work and were super tidy and considerate to my neighbours. We invited Bel Grierson to transform our boring lawn and slabbed in to a garden with a WOW factor. We were so delighted with every aspect of her design that we then commissioned her to turn her plan into reality. Bel arranged for the landscaping to take place, which was a challenge as the original garden was upward sloping and required 8 skip loads of earth, brick & rubble to be removed. Whilst this happened Bel was carefully selecting around 280 specimen trees, shrubs, roses and climbers. Upon completion of the landscaping Bel arrived with a lorry load of plants and trees and brought life to to new garden creation. We are now waiting for nature to take a hand, along with us heeding Bel's maintenance plan. The planting is such that it will have all year round interest. We simple cannot thank Bel enough for her creativity and genius as she has delivered us our dream garden. After being in a quandary for months about how to sort our large overcrowded borders due to enthusiastic over planting, I was delighted to contact Bel and invite her round to advise and guide us towards a cohesive design in a cost effective way. Her knowledge and keen eye were inspiring, and the following Report promptly sent, was clear and concise including photos, along with guidance notes for managing and maintaining. Bel was able to work with most of the original plants and shrubs , which will save money and her suggested re-positioning and removal of a few poor performers will give our garden a great new look. We asked Bel to help us to bring all areas of our garden together following an extension to our house. We were reasonably happy with the original layout but felt that there was no ‘flow’ between the courtyard and planting areas to the rear. We also felt that the courtyard was very bland, needing a clever planting scheme. Bel came up with a design sympathetic to the rural surroundings and achieved our brief of pulling everything together through a clever use of materials and planting. We are not keen gardeners and Bel designed low-maintenance planting, including an irrigation system, raised oak beds and improved original features by adding wooden strip cladding. Bel planted our garden out in the heat of the summer 2022 and returned after planting to check that the irrigation system was working effectively. She has since been back to check on progress and give further invaluable advice on maintenance throughout the seasons. (On top of the detailed briefing notes she supplied) Bel is always extremely professional, quick to respond and genuinely cares that we are happy with the end result. She also recommended Hortus landscaping who carried out Bels designs perfectly. I would not hesitate to recommend Bel.
