We have known Alix for over 8 years since she originally photographed our wedding in 2012. Since then Alix has become a close and valued friend who has photographed us and our growing family frequently. Alix approached our wedding with a professional and detailed plan, we discussed situations, settings and group shots. We had a pre-shoot which allowed us to get familiar and at ease with the camera and Alix. On the day Alix’s presence was comfortable and non-invasive, however she managed to capture so many intimate moments. The photo album she produced was stunning and is still one of our most treasured items. It wasn’t until we saw our photos after the honeymoon that we saw that Alix had been down the day before and scoped out our venues and had taken scenic shots with no guests. Alix has done many photo shoots for us since our wedding. She has an ability to capture in a photograph real and natural emotions, even when our little one was less than a year old. All 4 shoots had a friendly informal feel where we just chat and Alix snaps away, producing lovely informal, non-posed photographs. We couldn’t recommend Lumiere Photography more, not just for wedding photography, family photoshoots or portraits but for having an individual like Alix in your life.

Alix took absolutely lovely photos of our wedding day, and she was friendly and fun, and made people feel at ease. The photos really captured the day wonderfully, and they are mementos that I will cherish forever. Thank you.
