Charnwood Museum

A lovely museum with lots of information and an actual dinosaur fossil. Very friendly and helpful staff. A good spot to take children for an informative trip. The bird cage next to the museum is also lovely. TIPS: The cafeteria inside the museum is Cash Only.

I really like the museum and the fact that is free admission . It encourages little ones to learn more about history nature and the past .

Second visit to this fabulous free museum as we just didn't allow enough time first time round. Lots of history about Loughborough and the surrounding areas with interactive displays for youngsters and plenty to interest adults. Fully accessible and very helpful staff. Well worth the visit. Will be back again.

Wonderful experience with the mumart exhibition here. Lovely to see a museum supporting artists that are mums. A real talented group. Curated by revered curator Khyati Koria-Green
