Recess Coffee Shop. 4 - 5 Barrack Square . Chelmsford . What a little gem this place is..!! A huge choice of freshly made baguettes, panini, toastiest and much much more. Very friendly staff and plenty of space for wheelchair users. Definitely affordable prices without skimping on the quality. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely independent coffee shop in heart of Chelmsford. Great to sit outside, could do with some attention inside. But otherwise, lovely!

A lovely independent coffee shop just off the main high street, with friendly staff and lovely food. A nice place to meet friends over a coffee and cake.

Was recommended this place but wouldn't pass the recommendation on. Stopped here on a Sunday morning just for 2 hot drinks. Took best part of 20 minutes for these to arrive. Sorry but not for me and won't visit again
