Josh and the girls were the perfect match for Zack our feisty 7month old Labrador. With the training Zack and then us on hand over day was perfect. He now walks well now without lots of pulling, understands and reacts to commands much better. They looked after Zack wonderfully whilst in their care and kept us updated all the way through his training. With the offer of support going forward with his training only a text away. We would definitely recommend Josh and the girls to others.

We had our 10 months old gsd x dobbie/Chinese red dog staying for 3 weeks with The Dog Guy . She is super bright and energetic dog that needed a bit of extra training in recall and socialising with other dogs or just to be less stressed meeting another dog or too. She is not dog aggressive but anxious. The dog guy trainers did amazing job with her focusing on job in hand which is staying with the trainer and drop the interest that was leading her away. She became desensitised to other dogs around her but not disinterested which is good as she needs to be aware what is going on around her. So they achieved a fab result in what we need for her. Now we will carry on with education of this brilliant bright girl. I would highly recommend The Dog Guy trainers to help and train any dog needing a good steady guidance .

I had a home visit by Ollie for my 8 week old lab yesterday. Can't emphasis how impressed I was. He was knowledgeable, passionate, helpful and polite. He did a great job with my puppy. Gave me a lot of useful advice on how to get through the next few testing and vitality important months. Went through feeding, toilet training, crating, travelling, walking and just other day to day tips. He went well over our allocated time. My puppy took to him perfectly and he made good progress, even at such a young age. He is now booked in for a 4 week residential training after his vaccinations finish. These guys seem to really care about the dogs. It's not just a job for them. Highly recommended 😊

Just had a 1 2 1 session with Ollie and my dog Harry working on various bits. I’ve used many behaviourists and dog trainers before (that didn’t work), couldn’t have asked for a better trainer. Ollie is attentive, the right level of blunt and stern but also caring. You can see the passion and love he has for what he does just from one session with him, thank you so much Ollie and Dog guy! You’ve given Harry another chance at life!

We just picked up our Roxy from her 3 week residential stay with The Dog Guy and we are so pleased with the service we've received. Roxy has reactivity issues and at our hand over yesterday it's very clear the improvement that she's made in such a short space of time. The trainers are very friendly and knowledgeable and we're happy to answer all our questions and give advice for us to continue Roxy's training at home. The hand over wasn't rushed at all and our trainer made sure all our concerns were answered. The training facility is an amazing place and we came away knowing that our dog has been cared for to the highest level. The Dog Guy was a last minute find before we went on holiday and we are so glad we did as we will definitely be using there services again,highly recommend 👍
