Good selection of traditional furniture certainly not cheap but comparable with higher end stores, bought some painted kitchen chairs from the company a while ago paint isn't the best quality (chips easily) and unfortunately no 'touch up' is available, staff at customer services are very helpful as were the staff in the shop.

Great customer service from Leonora at the Chelmsford Cotswold Company outlet who could not have been more helpful. Clear guidance on details of the furniture including measurements and delivery. A delivery date for 9 days time received the following day. My bank blocked my debit card in case of fraud when making payment and Leonora was very patient whilst I was arranging for the card to be unblocked. Thank you and I will visit the store again soon.

I visited the Chelmsford branch so I could see the quality of the furniture before ordering and I placed the order that day. Lisa the assistant was very helpful and attentive and it was a pleasure shopping there, so much nicer than shopping online. Unfortunately there was a small admin error on the order, which came to light a few days later, but it was sorted out promptly and accurately without any fuss. I think it is a good indicator of professionalism when problems are corrected. I would recommend this shop both for the quality of the products and the way they handle a problem.
