Pitch & Putt

My grandsons have always enjoyed their visit to pitch & putt when they are in Chelmsford, but yesterday's visit was disappointing. Prices have risen hugely and the pitch is not in good condition. Long grass meant they spent more time searching for balls than playing.

Has lost a bit of its lustre over the years, but still a decent 18 hole p&p. Spoilt a bit now by the fact that you have Frisbee golf and football golf all on the same course, we went on a weekday and it was still irritating. It must be bedlam at the weekend and school holidays.

Pre-booked for a group of 12 people. Bit disorganised to start with as staff member didn't seem to know how to deal with the booking but eventually sorted out after he made a phone call. Did the first 9 holes which was great for a mixed ability group.

Great laugh and lots of fun .. Great for everyone one
