Visited for the first time today. Staff were extremely friendly and quick with service, really nice and talkative to our group. The food was also really tasty and authentic; all staff are Italian or have lived in Italy for a while. Drinks were extremely good too, from multiple cocktails to some big Italian beer on tap, and the house wine that our party of four finished three bottles of, everything is high quality. The decor of the restaurant was extremely nice and cosy, but also stylised to an Italian motif. Will definitely be returning some point soon as this place is absolutely stellar, extremely good Italian restaurant, way better than some of the big chains in the city centre.

Had the set lunch menu with 2 friends - 2 courses plus a glass of wine. Absolutely delicious ! And I loved the red wine, perfect temperature, full bodied with a deep fruity taste. There was plenty of choice on the set menu, well presented on lovely warm plates, makes all the difference, great service and good atmosphere - will definitely return. Had halibut on the specials board, big favourite of mine, so hopefully on again when I go another time.

We always come here for special occasions - it's a favourite with all our family. Great food, lovely atmosphere, attentive and polite staff.

Can't believe we've not been here before!! Lived in Chelmsford for over 20 years and only just tried this place. Very busy at 6.30 on a Friday night is a good sign. Service, food, atmosphere and prices were fantastic. Two starters, two mains, shared desert and two bottles of house red (so good we had to get a second) for around £85!! Cheaper than the chain restaurants in town and far better in every way. Will definitely be back, and soon.

The food and service here are excellent. Everything came out in good time and was very nice. The staff were also great and even made extra effort to provide a cocktail that wasn’t on the menu. The only thing I’ll say is that the atmosphere was a little loud. Nothing anyone could do as the buildings round here are build that way. I’ll definitely return here as other diners had some amazing looking food so I’d like to explore the menu a bit more.
