Great place! tried for starters mussles, and asparagus wrapped in parma ham and parmesan. both dishes were great. for mains we had a very generoud fruiti di mare and the specials which was a deliciously cooked grouper. the staff was very attentive and friendly and we will definately be back. olio is in our top five chelmsford restaurants.

Went there for the first time last night and was very impressed. the food was all cooked from fresh and everything arrived hot at the table. the portion size was very large and i was expecting small portions l. a lot larger portions that your usual italian restaurant! the staff was all friendly and service was very good. 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 deserts, 2 sides, 2 alcoholic drinks. all for less than £75. very great value and the food was fantastic. will be definately returning soon!
