Olio on the Green

We had a family meal celebrating a welcome to the world for victoria and chris's first child,staff, and food. it was tremendous. we couldn't fault anything recommend this establishment to everyone,just nice people doing a fabulous job.

This place is incredible. the food is just perfect, and the service is great. popped in for a thursday night dinner and was very impressed with the whole experience. the staff are very attentive and the food turn around was very quick even when the venue got busier - will definitely be back!

Fantastic! the food was delicious and the service from the staff was exceptional. we were celebrating my mil’s birthday and the staff overheard so when we ordered desserts, they brought hers out on a platter with “happy birthday” written on it. a small detail but it really was a lovely surprise and made our visit! we went saturday lunchtime and they catered space for our buggy. i will most definitely be returning!

I wish you could see the full 6 minutes of the video where mimmo flambees the grana padano before adding the linguine and stirring in the exquisite finely grated truffle... just divine!! if you find yourself anywhere near writtle just be sure to pay a visit to this wonderful restaurant - you just know that you owe it to yourself to do so 😉 😋

This is my favourite restaurant in essex, beautiful setting, amazing friendly staff and 1st class food !
