Zinnia Restaurant Chelmsford

Stunning restaurant! staff are nice and helpful. food is very tasty, we’ve been here many times and will continue to return! we especially love the spicy chips 😻

I had the wonderful evening catching up with friends ..the food was outstanding, the resturant is so pretty and is so well presented. the waiting staff could not do enough for us, and was very knowledgeable about all of the dishes . gluten free and dairy free options were not a problem either. cannot wait to visit here again. its great to have somewhere like this in chelmsford.

Beautiful decor, lovely food and decent cocktails! we came early on a saturday evening so did lack in atmosphere but that was our fault booking a 6pm slot. am returning with my partner and will book a later table so hopefully atmosphere will be better. a suggestion of sax or live music on a saturday evening i think could turn this restaurant into one of the decent london ones.

Food was not only beautifully presented but tasted really great as well. portion sizing was excellent and really great drinks. service and staff were the most attentive we have had in a long time, even when it got very busy. there was also a music technician (dj) who was on site that made an excellent job of setting the ambiance that we really loved the music enhanced our dining experience. not only this, but they made it such a special night for us as they allowed us to do our engagement there, making it one of our memorable moments as a couple. we cannot thank all of the staff and music technician enough, who changed the music when our proposal was made. afterwards they came and congratulated us as well. we are so grateful to them and look forward to coming back again in the future.

I took my mum to zinnia for her birthday. the service and food were absolutely incredible. the staff were lovely, particularly the lovely girl on reception who offered to take our photos and also the manager (we think!) who was absolutely lovely . the staff surprised us with a complimentary dessert for my mum and singing happy birthday to her too. the food was delicious, and well priced for the quality of our meals. could not fault the restaurant, amazing staff, beautiful scenery and outstanding food. thank you to all the staff working tonight.
