Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Chelmsford

A very positive experience at the specsaver store in chelmsford. from being welcomed at reception, to pre sight tests and then meeting my very experienced optician and discussing my vision in depth. i was shown photos on screen about my eyes and she addressed my dry eye concern and gave advice. after the test i was taken to reception and shown frames by a particular designer i liked and was shown all the frames in v westwood range. now to decide which ones or maybe go for for the '2 for 1' offer as so much choice😊 five star service.

Appointment on time. most staff were happy and welcoming apart from one young lady who didn't break into a smile until i asked her to. her smile was nice and her laugh even better as she saw the humour in my request. optician herself was sterile and covered her and companies back when i said my last glasses needed changing and when they were changed still not good enough. blamed my eyes as i have the onset of cataracts. don't we go to opticians to cure such problems?

What a great place! im impressed. i took my 2.5 year old for an eye test after being turned down by 3 other places because of my child’s young age. a lovely paediatric ophthalmologist examined her. the whole process was easy, stress free and my baby was happy to follow all instructions as they were introduced in a child friendly way. i highly recommend to all parents with kids under the age of four. thank you so much! ps- big thanks to the ladies at specsavers in basildon who helped me out and pointed me in the right direction. overall i'm very happy with both specsavers branches i visited.

Had such a good experience here the other day. it was very busy. they're so friendly and chatty. without being fake and/or obnoxious. had a lovely woman called michelle see to me. she was brilliant. tried to get me the best deal possible and was understanding of my needs and wants. it was a good experience. considering i'd also popped to boots opticians that day. stood waiting for 10 minutes, being completely ignored by the few members of unhappy staff there. then when i was finally seen, i could barely understand the woman, she wasn't very clear and didn't even apologise for the wait. they weren't busy. there were 4 people in there! sorry boots, my 20+ year loyalty is over.

I had been a boots customer for 25 years. at a point i needed their help they failed me. i turned to specsavers - how refreshing! easy access, friendly staff, brilliant opticians and fantastic value. i paid £700 at boots for my frames /lens in 2021. i got two pairs (so a spare pair) , better quality frames, vari focal lenses, thinnest possible lenses , reactor light coating for £500 in 2023. brilliant service. give them a try!!
