Chelmer Park

Loads of green space, seems popular with dog walkers. I was there with my son for the playground! As well as regular play equipment, there's a hill which has a long metal slides as well as two windy yellow slides which are worth a visit!

High quality and diverse range of amenities including AstroTurf and cricket nets. Also green space for dog walking etc, and also goal posts on the green space if you don't want to use AstroTurf. Masses of parking too so that's always a plus!

Park kept clean and tidy although on several occasions the dog poo bin was overflowing. Very disappointed with the gents convenience. Urinal full of rubbish, no hand wash or paper towels. Which is the same situation as a visit two weeks ago.

Lovely big area with football pitches, hockey, tennis courts, playground and general space to walk / run around. Also has a fairly large (and free) car park.

One of the big and beautiful parks in Chelmsford outskirts. Good place to visit for some physical activities like sports and workouts. It also has a hockey and cricket club. Also houses an outdoor gym and a play area. Must visit when in Chelmsford especially during summers.
