Nice old victorian manor garden which is now a park, with mature trees. good for dogs. museum excellent, and cafe also, although it can be difficult to find a seat at peak times when rainy. it serves some gluten free cakes etc
Nice open space ideal for dog walks. the kids playground is good here too. some handy picnic benches if needed. plenty of parking. the excellent free museum is well worth a look with some great exhibits on marconi, military history, toys and animals.
Very well maintained gardens with plenty of landmarks ands what i presume is free to use facilities like the park and tennis court. people found their way into the court anyway. dog friendly, family friendly, couples friendly, walking friendly. ill come again when the museums open.
Great museum and outdoor park space also tennis courts and picnic areas and cafe.
Always a great place to go. free entry, lots going on inside and outside the museum. lovely café..two parks set in the grounds. nice place for a picnic too.
