Excellent museum well worth a visit lots of exhibits

Fantastic museum lots to see and history to discover. Unfortunately the main house was closed for major developments, but this didn't interfere with our enjoyment. Beautiful gardens and play areas or children. All totally free

Very good exhibits with a lot of information to explain. Only unfortunate part on our visit was that it was partially closed for refurbishment. However, that can only be a good thing as it will improve future exhibits. Very clean. Keith, a volunteer, was a mind of information giving us a couple of interesting facts. The cafe looked good, however being half term it was full so didn't get to experience it. Parking was easy, and there was a lift inside. Best of all it was free!! Definitely recommend.

A nice but small museum. It has some excellent information about the history of the Marconi company in Chelmsford.
