Hylands Estate Weddings

My husband and I got married at Hylands House in May. Amy, James, Sam and the rest of the team ensured we had an absolutely beautiful, stress free wedding day. Throughout the planning process we felt completely well informed and everything was so well organised; Amy did an amazing job. Even having a face to face final meeting with Amy to walk through the whole day was so reassuring and she was in regular communication with us throughout the whole process. On the day, it was massively reassuring how involved James and Sam were and this meant so much to us. James was regularly checking on us, informing us of the progress of the day, updating us with timings and relaxing us with a big smile on his face! We felt so well taken care of and we honestly didn't feel any stress throughout the day in terms of worrying about time/whether everything was going as per the itinerary as James was already there talking us through as the day progressed. All the other staff members were so lovely and kind to us and we had the most relaxed civil wedding day. We were able to enjoy time with our guests and enjoy the food peacefully with everyone as we'd imagined. The house also looked so beautiful (as always!) on the day and we were so happy that we'd picked the perfect venue for our civil wedding!

Lovely and spacious building, perfect for any function. It’s a shame that there’s no antique furniture in the house and ‘the library’ looks like any other room. Would recommend for an event but maybe not as a tourist attraction.

Stunning venue with lots to offer whether you have the marquee or the main house. The house has lots of history and marble throughout it definitely has the wow factor. Not to mention the large grounds and the amazing staff that look after everything for you. Perfect wedding venue.
