Sophie Gallie Dance Academy

My daughter has been a student with Sophie since January and we are so very pleased at how she has come on. She's not only learning ballet but learning how to listen to a teacher, follow examples, interact with peers and children older than her who help out. I'm really pleased and I love how disciplined Miss Gallie is but also how she interacts with the children and takes an interest in each one individually. We are looking forward to how much our daughter improves over the next year.

So i discovered this Dance School earlier in the year for my 3 year old daughter and it the perfect place for her to enjoy ballet. The professionalism of the staff is brilliant but with the style of this being catered for young ones, the style of teaching is creative and imaginative for young dancers and im excited to see where her dancing journey goes with this school. Although we have only been there for a term, there is definitely a dance family feeling which makes the school alot more welcoming and warming to new starters. My little girls loves ballet and simply cant wait to show her nannys and grandads at weekends of whats he has learnt. I would highly recommend

Exceptionally professional, committed and most importantly fun! Miss Gallie is extremely dedicated to giving the kids a solid dance foundation, building confidence and providing them with a lifelong love of dance. The encouragement and support is superb and the attention to technique outstanding. The most rewarding part as a parent is seeing my daughter come out of class with the biggest smile on her face. The shows are wonderful and you appreciate even more the hard work and teamwork that goes into producing such a great spectacle!

Ava has attended Sophie Gallie Dance academy since she was 3 and has loved it ever since! She has absolutely thrived under Mrs Day, Miss Warburton and the wonderful assistant dancers. They really care about their students and know how to get the very best out of them. They ensure reach their maximum potential, providing opportunities for them to experience and preparing them for what the world of dance is like. Ava loves coming each week and spending time with her friends.

I would highly recommend SGDA to anyone looking for a high quality, caring dance school with excellent teachers and fantastic opportunities. My daughter has been dancing with SGDA since she was aged 2 and has been involved in various performances at theatres as well as completing RAD exams. Florence absolutely loves dancing and Thursdays and Fridays are her best days of the week! Thank you to Mrs Day and Miss Warburton for excellent training.
