Great, old school service. nothing was too difficult. staff attended to our needs immediately. other than one bar manager who appeared to be on a power trip (delegating other staff do everything in a brash and rude manner) it was fabulous. restaurant staff that we encountered were lovely. the porters were extremely helpful.

Visited the spa for the second time today for an indian head massage. on both occasions staff have been professional, friendly, warm and welcoming. i had booked massages on both occasions and both times have been extremely relaxing. the therapists are obviously well trained and skilled at what they do. i hope to come back soon!

Beautiful place to stay over. very welcoming. rooms are out of this world. breakfast is also great. would recommend to anyone.

Ten out ten. the best hotel we've ever stayed in. from the moment we arrived to leaving everything was first class. nothing was too much trouble and all the staff went over and above to make our stay completely enjoyable. the brasserie staff are outstanding as the chef made special meals for my wife who has specific requirements. the concierges are extremely helpful and very knowledgeable as i needed to locate a special shop. a classic hotel. we're already planning our next visit.

Whilst the room had received a makeover in recent years it felt only partial. some furniture looked tired or marked. it didn’t feel like a luxury stay. service at reception was excellent and in the restaurant it was initially very good. however, breakfast was hard work. an unusually long time between ordering food and receiving it. difficult to attract the attention of someone after the initial welcome. that being said the food was excellent. location couldn’t be better. i think in all likelihood i would try somewhere else before going back. but i wouldn’t discount staying again.
