Upstairs At The Grill

Went to celebrate our 10 year anniversary... staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Atmosphere was great, Chester race day, so very busy. We had a card from the Staff wishing us well, nice touch.... Food was incredible. The Delmonico Rib eye I had was stunning, ranked in top 2 steaks I've ever had. It was accompanied by a mushroom ketchup? Never experienced it before but delicious. Had Onion rings with a Chicken salt, these were without doubt the best rings ever.... Starter was Scallops done in a way I'd never thought about, on pulled pork with sweet corn sauce.... fantastic. Quality is everything. If you've not been, go.... if you're thinking about it.... dont miss out.....

Beautifully designed place for real! Too bad they are not making as good all of their dishes! For me, this restaurant was a bit overprice for what it offered. I ordered The fish of the day, and it was salmon. It was a small and not better than what I could make in the airfryer at home.. The Sunday Lunch looked good though, but all the rest looked a bit overrated.

I have worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years. This place is perfect. Genuinely can't fault it. Wine selection is brilliant. Food is sensational. Staff are what make a restaurant though and these guys know their stuff. Best place I have been to in a decade (and I have been to some places double the price!) 100% will be my top of list places to visit.

This is possibly my new favorite restaurant. I posted about it on social so figured I should leave a review. The food, the atmosphere, and the service was amazing (our waiter was a guy named Will, super kind). We wished we had more time in Chester! This place is a must visit if you're in town. Make sure to make a reservation.

Fantastic high end restaurant with great steaks: a true, beautiful, grill. The sort of place that elevates the whole town. The interior design is special, sumptuos and elegant. In the food dept, everything is delicious and I was positively surprised by the black forest gateaux, pictured. The service is excellent, from reception to waiting staff and make some time to visit the cocktail bar prior to your dinner! The drinks are very good and it has a great atmosphere. Tip: book in advance
