We used this company for many years for airport transfers for my oap mother. she was always happy with the drivers and service and name plate meet and greet service as she finds airports quite difficult to cope with (especially as she doesn't speak much english), so we were happy to pay the fares, which are significantly above those of chester's two big taxi companies. we kept using the company even after they deleted a booking a few years ago without telling me. they only sent a driver to the airport after i'd rung them up to tell them that my mother had been waiting for half an hour already. my mother was nevertheless happy with them, so we kept using them for bookings. unfortunately this morning i realised that i had booked an incorrect transfer time - 20:00 instead of 08:00. (i did give the correct flight number though, it doesn't look as if this was picked up.) when i cancelled this booking, the company insisted in enforcing the cancellation policy - i. e. no refund as cancellation was less than 24 hours. while they are perfectly within their rights to enforce this policy, a premium price and customer loyalty should have gone some way towards a courtesy refund. this has left quite a sour taste in our mouths and we'll just be using competitors in the future. *** update - i can confirm that i have now received a partial refund, this is after any refund had been declined at first.
