Horseradish Events & Catering

We had an amazing time and so many wonderful comments about the food! The food was hot, tasty and a good portion size. The staff were wonderfully professional and quick to serve and clear the tables. My thanks, and that of the society, goes out to every member of staff involved in booking, producing and serving our dinner on Thursday, including the lovely tasting menu we enjoyed beforehand. It was impeccable and we will certainly be using Horseradish again for any catering we require when we return to Chester or Liverpool in the future.

Recently attended one of Horseradish's events in Liverpool Cathedral. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and delicious. The service was attentive and perfectly timed. I would highly recommend, a very professional caterer.

We had our wedding ceremony at the racecourse this weekend and it was fantastic. From when the planning begun until the end of the celebrations, communication was great, I felt in control but also very relaxed that everything was being taken care of. Everything was brilliant value and I never thought we would be able to have such a wonderful venue, canapés & drinks and stay within our budget. Everyone came away saying what an amazing day it was and even my dog was made to feel welcome. A perfect day!

We recently had the wedding of our dreams with Horseradish at Chester Racecourse and we couldn't praise them enough. It was a surprise wedding so there was a lot of planning involved and they were so flexible with everything and a huge help with ideas and logistics. We always wanted to avoid a cookie cutter style wedding package, and they truly made everything feel fully bespoke and like nothing was too much trouble and everything was possible! They made the planning completely stress free and made us feel like real VIPs - from the menu tasting and visits, to replying so thoroughly to our many lengthy emails! All the team on the day were amazing too - the surprise was kept a surprise all the way to the announcement, and all guests were greeted with a drink right away and the team were really attentive - they helped keep our nerves at ease throughout! We had worried the day may feel like a military operation sticking to timings and moving guests around, but everything felt so relaxed and easy with the team there handling it all for us and sensing the best times to move on etc. Everyone seemed genuinely invested in the day and wanting the surprise to be a great success. The food was so impressive too - we're still drooling over the beef! It was an amazing selection and the perfect balance of a formal occasion but still relaxed and offering plenty of choice. Each venue space was laid out exactly as we imagined and perfect uses of the spaces - many guests commented how wonderful to have run of the racecourse and to move between the various rooms. It really kept it interesting and meant we could use each space exactly as we wanted. We are still beaming from what a wonderful day it was - even better than we ever imagined and this is largely credited to the amazing team there. We'll be forever grateful!

I had booked my 2023 Autumn wedding at Chester Racecourse with Helen and the team from Horseradish Events & Catering and the experience from start to finish was fantastic. The communication, flexibility and knowledge Helen offered was second to none. No question or query was too much for her and she really made sure everything was controlled well throughout the lead up to the big day. The bowl food was incredible and all the guests had commented about how great it was. On the wedding day, the additional staff were also excellent. I would absolutely use Horseradish in the future for any larger catering events or parties. Thanks again for all you did to make our day so special!
