We are so pleased to have received planning consent for our Greenbelt barn redevelopment ; all thanks to Katie and Simon and the SDA team for their expertise and determination to deliver as near as possible our client brief with some inspired design and all in the face of very challenging planning constraints. We highly recommend using SDA.

After 3 years of trying with other architects consisting of 3 different design schemes, 2 refusals and a failed appeal we have finally had approval on our property which lies within the Greenbelt. Studio SDA managed this on their first application for the site which also exceeded our expectations for the overall density and design. We are in construction and use various architects for our day to day business so I was a little pessimistic with the self confidence they have, but the proof is they have delivered as they promised on day one.

Highly recommend StudioSDA, Katie and Simon make a great team. We had lots of hurdles to get over as we are in the greenbelt, but Katie battled through and got us over each one, it may have taken a year to get the permission but it was worth the wait. Well done Katie and Simon you certainly know the planning laws better than anyone.

We used SDA Architecture in April of 2016 and can honestly say from start to finish it was a fantastic experience. Katie and Simon perform very different roles but both to an incredibly high standard. Simon`s ideas and concepts coupled with Katie`s project management skills make for a great combination. The project came in both on time and on budget which considering the timescales we were working was a real achievement. First regards a home we were considering buying but would have needed work to make the right home for us and we sought advice from Simon and Katie. Second for the one we currently live in, which we have aspirations to make our ‘forever home’ but need help with ideas and making the right decisions. Simon has such an engaging style and approach, he takes the time to listen and fully understand how you live and what is important. Using his experience and creativity, can then transform this insight to sensational concepts and practical solutions we could never have even imagined on our own.
