Had the best time celebrating my daughters 18th birthday. Considering there were 7 of us, the bill was really reasonable 😊. One of our party was a vegan and was really pleased to be able to pick from the menu and have more than one option to choose from. All the staff, Chrissy, Dylan, Harry, Arron and Andrew were amazing and made it a special night for us all. Andrew took advantage of a birthday and having a microphone to encourage the whole pub to sing happy birthday as well 🤣 Bonus of the night, coming second in the quiz so will have to go back to spend the bar tab we won 😊🍻🍷 Thank you 🙏

Visited at 7.30pm on a Saturday night, we're bored of takeaways and with it being 2 for 1 the price wouldn't be much different. Excellent choice on the menu, classic pub meals with some different twists thrown in. Staff are really helpful and friendly, a nice change compared to some other places with almost mechanical staff. Food was spot on, I rarely order steak out because I'm usually disappointed but thought I'd take a chance and I was actually amazed by how well cooked it was, and had a lot of flavour for a pub steak. The 2 mains came to £18 for both, I would've struggled to cook them at home for less, and when we got the bill I was surprised to see it was only £16 for a sauvignon I would expect to pay £23+ for. After avoiding the place for 5/6 years due to continuous bad experience, I can safely say it's unrecognisable as the same place and we will be returning regularly.

Loved it here. This pub is great and has a nice big car park that's free too. The food is great and we enjoyed every bite. I had a big group of 16 and everyone was very happy. There was lots for the children to do, some computer games to play with learning games on and colouring in also toys to play with. The toilets were clean. The pub was clean, warm, and spacious. The staff were very friendly, kind and welcoming. I would definitely come again when I'm next visiting. We celebrated my mums birthday, and Paul Cassell went to extra trouble to make it special. He went the extra mile the whole evening making sure we were happy, where we were seated, that we liked the food, asked if we needed anything more, making sure my Mams dessert had a candle in it and brought out at the right time. Paul was just so attentive, and I think that makes a big difference. He also had a lovely chat with us when ordering our food and made us laugh. Great service given. Perfect evening!
