Nicky was amazing- I'd been in tears several times about my little dog and his increasing reactivity but she helped me see he was scared and overwhelmed after some bad experiences and that I can help him with her techniques- always force free and gentle. She is calm and so so kind and helps you understand your dog's reaction and how to temper it by offering protection to them, resetting them and just generally was fabulous. Thoroughly recommend.

I've just recently rescued a second dog. I booked Nicky for a behavioural assessment to ensure there were no potential problems between my two dogs. She was awesome, she came around and instantly identified that the garden play was a potential trigger point. Just quick tips and easy training methods have resolved any potential problems arising and I can enjoy the garden with my boys stress free. Highly recommend

We adopted a rescue dog, terrier-cross called Zippy a year ago. He wasn’t socialised and was a nervous, fearful little thing with a history so he was very wary of people. As dear as he was, we experienced many behavioural issues. Fortunately a friend recommended Nicky of Canine Solutions. Nicky was a saving grace. Some of these issues we thought we’d never overcome but with Nicky’s help and expertise we were able to address issues such as house training, separation anxiety, defensiveness and socialisation one by one. We experienced a change in Zippy’s behaviour straight away, even though we were on a journey for several months. Without Nicky, we would have been at a loss. With Nicky’s help we now have a happy, confident little dog, if not somewhat cheeky. We’ve learned so much, we can’t recommend her service enough, it’s the best thing we’ve done and we will always be grateful. Thanks Nicky for restoring Zippy’s life and ours!

I recently had a session with Nicky and my 6 month old mini dachshund x Jack Russell, after months of trying to get him to sit she showed me in minutes the correct technique and he responded immediately. She shown me a great recall game which he’s responding really well to. After experiencing a really bad destructive chewing phase, Nicky provided a full action plan with advice and tips of how to control and prevent and further destructive chewing. Overall really impressed with how the session went and the follow up correspondence, I would highly recommend k9 solutions if you have any issues, very knowledgeable and friendly 5 stars!

Firstly, I would like to start to thank Nicky for your help with our little Albie. She builds a bespoke plan after analyzing your dog and goes through this in detail with you and with regular check ups. She's so helpful and efficient and always happy to help you at whatever time. I would recommend Nicky for anyone who has an anxious dog who is fearful or aggressive towards others. Albie is a rescue and has had 2 previous owners, so unsure what has happened to him prior to Sam & I, however Nicky has worked wonders on him. We will be booking Nicky for further training and lessons. I would not dream of going anywhere else for training my dog. Again, thank you Nicky for all you have done for us so far!
